Compufleet is a full service Maintenance management package. Quite simply it will help you track costs and find areas where you can save money. Now that is difficult to quantify so here are some better examples:
--It can help you avoid missing scheduled maintenance that can severely damage your equipment and cost you money.
--If you ever get a DOT audit and they need maintenance records you will be able to provide them in a couple of minutes. This may help lower insurance rates due to poor audits
-- You could accidentally perform unneeded maintenance. What if you didn't know that a gear lube for a large piece of equipment was changed just 60 hours ago so you changed it. You put 30 gallons of synthetic gear oil (at $3 per quart) in the machine. You would have just spent $360 on maintenance that was not needed. At this point Compufleet has half paid for itself.
Compufleet can handle any size fleet. Compufleet has been tested with 1000 machines being fueled every 3-5 days for 10 years. An entire fleet report for all 10 years took about 30 seconds. One machine over the same time takes 3-5 seconds. This data constitutes about 1 million rows of data. From given data MsAccess can easily handle this amount of data. If performance becomes an issue due to amount of data Compufleet can easily be upsized to SqlServer or an Oracle data base in a client server configuration. Our suggestion is to start with Compufleet as is, If you find performance is starting to become an issue then we can upsize you and transfer your data.
